This project aims to create a study and discussion area for students in the FST Building. As for now, students do not have any space to study casually and discuss among themselves other than in class, tutorial rooms and lecture halls.

Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) through its Research Group, Ibn Ummi Maktum Research Center (UMMI), has produced the first such Sign Language Al-Quran Application, for the hearing-impaired community in Malaysia. The cash waqf project was created to facilitate this innovation. This project was fully supported by Centre for Awqaf and Zakat USIM (PWZ), Negeri Sembilan Deaf Association (NESDA) and Quranic Education for Special Needs (FAQEH) and Cyber Security and System Center (CSS) USIM. The USIM Pensioner Medical Fund is an initiative to sustain the financing of medical facilities for all retired USIM staff

In order to complete the USIM Gate''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s construction, the Security Department of USIM needs money donations from individuals or organisations totaling RM 1,468,152.00. Due to the increase in members of USIM and the entrance of people and external organisations, the Security Department welcomes financial donations from various organisations to assist with the cost of constructing the gate in order to assure the safety of USIM.

The FPG Mobile Dental Clinic Fund was created as one of the efforts to obtain donations and funds from external organizations and contributors to run mobile dental specialist clinic services. This donation is needed to cover the operating costs of community dental services program such as the procurement of materials, mobile dental clinic equipment and the maintenance of the Mobile Dental Clinic.

Promote internationalization programs by providing financial support and opportunities for students to explore foreign countries to expand knowledge and cultural exchange.

This fund aims to gather funds to conduct research activities at USIM that integrate naqli and aqli knowledge. The research projects carried out will have an impact on society, academia, government, industry, and the environment. This fund is supervised by the Research and Innovation Management Centre (PPPI) of USIM, and donations from this fund will be distributed to USIM staff who have had their research projects approved based on the research proposal submitted.

MJSL has introduced periodic programs aimed at expanding access to knowledge and providing support to authors in their publishing process and dissemination of knowledge. Among these programs is the Rakan MJSL, which aims to strengthen professional networks and support among academia, while the APC Waiver Policy provides an opportunity for authors facing financial challenges to publish their articles with waived fees. Additionally, MJSL continues to maintain consistency in the quality of indexing of published articles, both domestically and internationally. To support these initiatives, MJSL has launched MJSL INFAQ, a public funding project through the Jom Infaq USIM platform. The goal of this project is to support MJSL management costs, provide financial assistance to authors eligible for the APC Waiver Policy, and support the dissemination of high-quality writing from authors facing financial challenges in publishing their work in MJSL. With these initiatives, MJSL strives to ensure that quality knowledge and research results remain accessible and disseminated widely, while providing support to academia in need.

Ibnu Sina Charity Fund (USIM Student Medical Assistance) is an initiative to help USIM’s students in health care towards improving the quality of life. As a result of the effect of the increase in the cost of living, students are also burdened with the increase in the cost of treatment such as general medicine, hemodialysis treatment and the cost of learning aids for students with special needs from the Disabled People (OKU) group. Therefore, Centre for Awqaf and Zakat (PWZ) took the initiative by establishing Ibnu Sina Charity Fund (USIM Student Medical Assistance) which aims to further expand the collection of donations towards preserving the welfare and health of students in a more consistent and sustainable manner. This fund will also widen the opportunities for individuals, institutions, or corporate companies to realize their social responsibility to the community, especially students, through donations to USIM students who are less able. This in turn can improve the quality of students'''''''' health towards ensuring the continuity and well-being of their lives throughout the study period.

THIS INFAQ FUND WAS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OBTAINING CONTRIBUTIONS FROM INTERNAL STAFF OR INDIVIDUALS AND EXTERNAL ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE WELFARE OR EMERGENCY NEEDS OF FPSK STUDENTS

Know as Tabung Tashil Tolabah (Student Facility Assistance Fund), this initiative aims to help USIM students in various ways. The maximum rate of RM 200 and RM 300 per application to ease the burden of USIM students. There are tow categories of funding available RM 200 for the costs of glasses and learning materials and under RM 300 for emergency needs like transportation tickets and needs deemed necessary by PWZ.

FACULTY OF DENTISTRY FUND was established as an initiative and effort to raise funds and contributions for the purchase of dental chairs which is indirectly a sincere charity from donors to support educational efforts and teaching and learning process in the faculty. USIM Faculty of Dentistry is the Ninth (9) faculty established at USIM and developed in 2006. The first intake at FPg was in 2007 with a total of 29 students and then has grown gradually from year to year. Currently, the faculty only offers one Bachelor of Dental Surgery program which to date has produced eleven (11) graduate groups of 345 graduates. The total student intake set at the initial stage of the operation was 35 and has now been increased to 50 per year. The projected student intake is expected to increase to 60 students (including 10 international students) when the application for additional students is approved at the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) in the near future. The total number of active students in the faculty is 200 people. The period of study for FPg students is for five (5) years where, two (2) years in the pre-clinical phase and three (3) years in the clinical phase. In the clinical phase, students must meet the clinical requirements set by the Council of Deans of Dentistry Malaysia. Therefore, the need for a dental chair for students undergoing the clinical phase is very critical for the purpose of exposure to dental clinical practical training.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO IMPROVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE AND CHEERFULNESS OF THE FPSK BUILDING

As a progressive step in further disseminating knowledge to the public, the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia is planning to establish an audio and video recording studio named Studio@FEM. This aims to enhance the educational and research functions within the faculty and the university. The studio will enable faculty members, including staff and students, to produce multimedia content relevant to the fields of economics, finance, and Islamic studies, turning it into a dynamic platform for a deeper understanding of knowledge.

Food for Needy Fund (It`am Muhtajin) - Food is the most basic requirement for every human being to gain energy so they can carry out daily activities and for a continuous survival. In Islam, food is a necessity, one of the most basic requirements that must be met for the sake of life. However, not everyone could get enough food either due to poverty or other factors. USIM through the Centre for Awqaf and Zakat took the initiative to establish this fund to feed the needy among students and staff. The one of activities including Menu Barakah at Kolej Kediaman 1, regular free food packs at the selected cafe, PWZ''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s Foodbank and activities related with funding for the food including Iftar programme at the Tuanku Muhriz Islamic Complex.

Collecting funds to purchase reading materials to support educational efforts through the USIM Library. These donations will contribute and will continue as ‘sedekah jariah’ for the donors as long as the knowledge and reading materials are utilized and be used by library user.

PWZ has established a corner of the PWZ Foodbank located in the front of PWZ’s office starting August 2023. The purpose of having this foodbank is to distribute the free food assistance food such as bread, biscuits, drink packets, vermicelli, soy sauce and so on. Open every working day.

The USIM Alumni Welfare Fund is an initiative implemented by the Alumni and Career Center to help USIM Alumni who are affected by disasters such as death, fire, accident, and other disasters as appropriate. Hopefully, with the donations given, we can ease some of the burden from the test that befell the Alumni.

TABUNG USIM PRIHATIN merupakan inisiatif untuk membantu warga USIM, alumni, dan komuniti ketika menghadapi situasi seperti musibah, kecelakaan, kemalangan, kerugian harta benda, pembelian alatan dan kelengkapan perubatan, pembiayaan program pemantapan ilmu dan lain-lain bantuan yang bersesuaian.

USIM has 24 Alumnus from Palestine, 178 active students and 3 lecturers from Palestine. Thus, in an effort to help alumnus, students and staff, as well as their respective family members who were severely affected by the Israeli regime''''''''s attack on the Gaza region, USIM launched the #USIMPrihatin Palestin through Tabung Peduli Palestin managed by PWZ USIM. Through this fund, USIM citizens and the public have the opportunity to contribute for the purpose of covering urgent needs such as medical aid, hospital equipment, shelter and food to help the Palestinian people among USIM alumnus, students and staff. Together we help the Palestinian people among USIM citizens and their respective families who are currently trapped in conflict and humanitarian crisis through the #USIMPrihatin Palestine.
